Critical_Mass






Our next project consisted of combining images to convey one of the seven deadly sins. My sin was greed. I focused on combining objects and photos to show this that are usually associated with greed.

Transformations





This was the second assignment for image methodology. We were assigned to take random objects and images and combine them to make new images. I chose to use a lighter, a flower, an earring, and a "Dr. Pepper" candle.

Scavenger_Hunt


This was the first assignment in Image Methodology. We were to take six photos and be able to link them together through different elements of design. For example mine were: shape, color, line, texture, and space.

Interaction Exercise


This assignment followed our symbol project. We were to take one of our final symbols and display the four iterations that had led up to the final symbol we had chosen.

Symbol Project



This was our first assignment in Graphic Design 1. We were to create three symbols that were to represent three aspects of a chosen topic. My topic was agriculture with the three sub-topics industrial farming, organic farming, and animal farming.

Illustrator Exercise


This was our first exercise in Graphic Design 1. It was used to give us an introduction to Adobe Illustrator and focused on the use of the pen tool.

Type Specimen Book

This was another Typography 1 project we were assigned to create a type specimen book that focused on displaying a typeface of our choice. I chose to use Baskerville for my book. In my book i tried focus on showing just the type, without using a lot of graphics. I tried to keep the book clean and changed the colors of the type when I saw fit.

Design Culture Now Poster



This was the first major project in Typography 1. I focused on the concept that all of the designers were connected by the this one event. My goal was to convey this by using the title and the address of the event to bring together the artist information.
